Cellular South is now offering the HTC 7 Pro, the company’s first Windows Phone 7 OS offering, for sale to its customers. The smartphone is powered by a 1GHz Qualcomm snapdragon and runs on the Windows Phone 7 OS featuring Live Tiles with the glance-and-go experience. A slide out QWERTY keypad and tilt-up display complements the mobile gadget.
The 3.6-inch WVGA touch screen shows off the Windows Live Tiles feature. Live Tiles, depending on the particular app, displays up to the moment updates of things such as email, news, weather, or game notifications. A 5MP camera comes with flash, autofocus, and zoom. The HTC 7 Pro also shoots video with its 720p HD camcorder.

16GB of internal memory helps to store files, video, and digital stills. The on the go person will appreciate the web browser which allows access to Bing Search and Maps. The Maps app allows for turn by turn directions and other capability such as street level view by either voice command or by typing.
The HTC 7 Pro gives the busy professional access to email by using Microsoft Exchange ActiveSync. With the Office Hub the user will be able to work with and share with coworkers Microsoft Office files. OneNote and Sharepoint Workspace are also offered.
When the busy office work is done the user can relax with other Hubs including Pictures, Music + Video and the Games Hub to name a few. Xbox Live can be accessed via the Games Hub giving the user a gaming experience they will appreciate. All this and more will be offered by the largest privately owned wireless provider in the U.S. for under $200 (after a $50 mail in reward card) with a new 2 year agreement.
